Hi,
Is it possible to set tapping of the screen as a trigger/condition?
Thanks, Sam

Hi,
You could try to use trigger Shake but I doubt that it's sensitive enough to detect taps.

Martin

Re: Tap screen as trigger/condition
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm using shake at the moment but it seems very sensitive. And slight jerky movement turns the display off.
The phone i have allows me to double tap the screen to wake.
I was thinking perhaps they'd be a way to use that feature and turn it on when the screen is on.
Thanks again Martin.

Re: Tap screen as trigger/condition
Hi,
Double-tap to wake phone is not available on standard Android to my knowledge so I doubt that there's an official way to intercept this event. I add it to the todo-list to check if it's feasible to implement such a feature in Automagic itself, but it would most likely use quite a bit of battery when activated since it has to constantly read the sensor data in the background.
