triggers only when display is on

i made a flow where my nexus 5 kills some applications when i enter the WIFI of my office. this work, but only when i switch on the display, is that normal? i thougth it does the action without doing anything ...

I'm only new to using automagic, but i think you need a condition in your flow that checks if the screen is off.

I have flows that trigger when the screen is off and still work.

You may try using the "Turn Screen On" action before killing the flows.
