What do you input in the speech output "text box" to get the program to read the body of the text?

Hi,

The trigger SMS Received provides the SMS message text in variable sms_text (please also check the help page of the trigger and scroll down to the variables section).
You can write {sms_text} into the text field of action Speech Output to read out the SMS message.

I put "{sms_text}" (without quotes) in the text field and the flow turns red and nothing is read when I get a text message. I am sure I am not setting it up correctly...any advice? My first box is the trigger of SMS recieved and that flows into speeech output with the aforementioned {sms_text}.
