Synchronize an Excel file upon modification with OneDrive

Hi there,

I have an excel file that I share with my computer and phone (either Dropbox or OneDrive). I'd like to set up a flow to synchronize this file upon modification so that the file is always up-to-date between the two devices. How can I go about this flow? Any suggestion would be appreciated. (I guess Martin will chime in as always: thanks in advance )

Did you try the Trigger File Observer combined with the actions Dropbox Upload File or Google Drive Upload Files (experimental)?

Choo, I hope there is a resolution or a workaround for this. I have not found one. Sure you can upload a file as csv to for example Dropbox, but not as xls or xlsx . So I then have to make several adjustments and import it into excel, my native language (Swedish) is not English on my computer, nor on my phone. But I cannot change /add something from the computer and then again change/add something to the file from the phone.

I tried your suggestion and it works for Dropbox. I'm looking for something to trigger OneDrive. Thanks a bunch because I didn't know about the File Observer trigger. Lots of time, I search and search and it's right there in front of my eyes, or I don't understand the correct meaning of a trigger

The flow works with an excel file. I don't understand why in your case it doesn't. The only issue I have is that whenever I modify the file and wifi is not connected, Automagic throws me an error. I'm sure there a way to remedy so that Automatic would synchronize only when there's wifi but I haven't looked further for the moment because as mentioned earlier, I'm looking for a feature to work with OneDrive.

Hi choo, I was wrapped up in my own problems. I make a file with Automagic's help (csv) . And it is that one I cannot change on the computer and then change it again on my phone again.

Edit, also I almost always use mobile data on my phone since I have an unlimited plan for data.
