Minimum precision filter for Location trigger

Re: Minimum precision filter for Location trigger
Thank you in advance for your patience ... I downloaded your stream, but not being a computer scientist I find it difficult to modify it for my needs. I set AutoLocate following the instructions on Playstore, surely I would need two flows, one has appeared to activate wifi when at home and another to turn it off when I'm away, maybe even insert other places where I have access to the network. I saw the demo video of AutoLocate that recommend using Tasker and I could use that, because the instructions are very clear, but I'd rather use AM. If you have time to ask a lot of patience you straight with a little more clear instructions to create flows.

You don't need 2 flows. You need to define 4 geofences in Autolocation:asimov62 wrote:Thank you in advance for your patience ... home - address1 - range small
Home@ - address1 - range large
Work - address2 - range small
work@ - address2 - range large.
Change addresses 1 and 2 with real addresses.
All the job is done by Autolocation.
That's all.

Re: Minimum precision filter for Location trigger
Hi mcyber
I understand what you are doing and I even got AutoLocation since before I came to Automagic I tried every other automation tool in the store including several plug-ins.
Unfortunately AutoLocation lacks the minimum precision filter of Automagic's periodic location update trigger. I dumped automation tool after automation tool because there was no way to eliminate the problem that a few times every day the Google location service seems to have a hick-up that makes my position jump to the next GSM station, stay there for a few moments and then jump back to the correct location. Automagic is the first tool that had a solution for this problem.

The last version of Autolocation has a settable delay to sort out your problem and border bouncing locations. You can set the number of seconds before a variation in geofence status takes place. If the new state persists for more than the delay time you have set, the change is taken in account and the flow is triggered, otherwise change is ignored.
I would like to avoid plugins if I could but I came to the conclusion that some very specialized functions will always be better addressed by plugins. If you already knew and used Autolocation, you can give it a try. I spared several instructions and location related flows with it.
