Active network type maybe a bug

Post by holymoz » 19 Nov 2014 18:43

Hi, I want to trigger when I'm connected to mobile, wifi or disconnect from those.
The trigger active network type is set to Wi-Fi, mobile and none and works very well ONLY the second time I connect/disconnect.
Doesn't trigger after phone starts.
In other words I turn on the phone, connect to The network (Wi-Fi or mobile) and the trigger doesn't trigger.
After that, every time I disconnect/connect on one of the two network the trigger works perfect.
Why this malfunction only with the first connection After boot? Thx guys.

Does your device connect to network before Automagic was started after boot? If so, you could maybe add the "Automagic start" trigger, and test network connectivity with a condition, to react to that case.

no, I connect manually after automagic starts.
in effect I "watch" the flow then enable wifi from statusbar and wait for the trigger to become red but when connection is established nothing happen.

Could you please enable Debug log and Log to SD card in the preferences of Automagic, reboot to reproduce the problem and then send the log by mail to info@automagic4android.com? I think Android might not send an expected event when the device is booted so Automagic does not properly initialize the trigger but I would like to see in the log if this happens on your device.

Martin
