I can reproduce it on a Samsung device. I will add an option 'ensure screen is on' or something like that in the next EAP version.

This version is considered feature complete so I will mostly fix bugs only in the next few EAP-versions.

Changes in this update:

• internal changes to saving/loading global variables. The new version should be able to read the old format but please backup file variables.bin if you have very important variables just in case something goes wrong.
• workaround for screen off bug on Samsung devices when using action Dismiss Slide to Unlock Keyguard
• added variable support to action Set Screen Brightness
• added option to request audio focus in actions Sound and Speech Output
• added web page containing some common script examples (see Tip in chapter Functions of the help page of action Script. Let me know if you would like to see a particular script. The page is meant to contain only basic, simple and self contained scripts)
• internal changes and fixes

Hmm, I can not reproduce the bug anymore using the latest EAP version (S3 4.1.2). Are you really using the latest version (Menu->Manage->About: Build 20140419_105719...)?

I'm out of ideas. When you add an action Turn Screen On right after the Dismiss-action, does this work around the problem on your device?

Yes martin it works when i add turn screen on action.
It first turns off the display and then turns on the display.

Thanks for testing. I have added another attempt to work around this issue in the next EAP, somehow I doubt that it will help, but it's worth a try.
Would be great if you could test the next EAP and report if the the behavior improves on your device.
