Registering screen taps.

I've been trying to make sophisticated flow that controls the screen timeout. The flow would contain some conditions of which app is running but also whether user is touching the screen or not. I'm trying to make it so that I don't have to add every app in conditions but rather a bit more intelligent flow. That would be possible if I could somehow get this to register touch imput on screen. I don't need the finger position or anything but just output whether I'm touching/tapped or not touching the screen.

If that involves some scripts or coding, please give me extensive instructions as I'm in no way a coder.
