Format "Notification on Screen" Text

Is there a way to format the text displayed in a Notification on Screen? All my notifications appear in the bottom center of the screen. Yet the notification text for the Countdown flow that comes with AM appears over the shortcut icon. How do I control the location of where the notification text appears?

Also, does functionality exist to control the size of the text, and maybe its background?

Automagic uses the default Android notification layout, style and positions. There are no options to change the appearance (text style etc.) of the notifications.
