Editing action type "copy file" to "move file" ...

Post by BoBo » 29 May 2014 10:18

... has reset all of the additional entries within the editor to default - means they became empty fields.
That way I've lost a quite tricky path & filename format function setting.

Is there a chance that I can swap an actions currently selected function (here: copy/move/delete/zip) without loosing all other set parameters??

Create a new action and copy-paste everything from the other action.

Hi,

Changing the type of an action usually resets all fields to the default values since the fields of different actions usually don't have the same meaning. I admit that it would be useful to take over the values in some cases.
At the moment you have to copy/paste the contents of fields to the new action by long-clicking the text if you want to use the same setting. There's also a multi-clipboard flow available in the flow sharing area if you want to copy several fields at once.

Regards,
Martin
