Hi there,
I have a flow using the Twilight plugin that used to work. It triggers the app Night Filter at sunset and stops it at sunrise. Unfortunately, nothing happens at sunset anymore. I don't know when it comes to sunrise but if I've triggered Night Filter manually, the flow wouldn't kick-in to stop the app either. I've not changed the flow. Would anybody have an idea how to solve my issue here?
My phone is rooted and on Jelly Bean 4.2.2.

Hi,
Is there an error shown in the log when you execute the flow manually (menu->Manage->Log)?
Could you please also share the flow so we can check what might be going on (menu->Forum: use Publish Flows/Widgets on the bottom and select the flow that fails, paste the link in a reply).
Did you change anything recently on your phone? Upgrade ROM, change some settings or install some Xposed modules, security apps or anything like that?

Upgrade ROM, settings, Xposed modules, security apps. I'm having this problem in a constant environment. I've rooted my phone but haven't installed any Xposed modules because I just wanted the broader options given by Automagic for rooted phones.

Thanks for the log. It seems that the Twilight plugin still executes your flow. I've tried the flow with the free Twilight app and it seems to work. Maybe there's a problem with the accessibility service used by action Control UI.
Please open system settings->Accessibility. Are there any other active accessibility services except Automagic?
Please turn all other services off and also stop/start the accessibility service of Automagic and try to execute the flow one more time. Does the flow work now?

I went into accessibility and made took a hard look at the permission there and disabled it for all apps (Sliding Messaging, Enhanced SMS and Caller ID, All in One Gesture) except for Automagic and Type Machine (a clipboard app). The flows work as they should now. I don't understand why some apps ask for this permission when I don't even notice a difference if they have it granted to them or not.
Another question: could you please point me to the direction on how to set up so that these flows kick-in intelligently after a reboot? The night filter is disabled if I do a reboot after sunset while it has been running before that.

I'm glad it's working now. You could also enable the other accessibility services again and then switch the Accessibility Feedback Type in the preferences of Automagic. It has to be set to a feedback type that's not used by any other service otherwise Control UI might stop working again.
You could use a global variable to remember if the screen filter was turned on before the reboot (action Script: global_screen_filter_on = true;, resp. Script: global_screen_filter_on = false;) and then start the screen filter in a flow with trigger Automagic Startup.
You could also use the trigger Automagic Startup, check a condition Plugin: Twilight and start the filter when necessary.
