k-9 mail, fairemail et al.

HI,

I'm trying to use automagic to automate syncing my email client, but I'm a noob on how to use either the "application components", be it services, activities, intents, broadcasts, content providers; or java methods; or even a shell command or a System setting, if of any use: can somebody give me an instructive clue on where to get info / help for the different fields & functions such as "Action, Category, Data URIs, Data MIME Types, Explicit components Flags, Extras"...? I tried to use "Intent intercept" for this, but I do not know how to properly intercept intents from the mail client.

can somebody help on how to automate "any" email client, preferably k-9 or fairemail, by using the above mentioned features?

I'm not sure how to do it, but you should ask on Reddit under r/automagic, if you haven't. It's not a busy sub, but way busier than here. Good luck!
